LSI, a social-democratic party, was founded in 2004 by a splinter group from the Socialist Party of Albania; chaired by Ilir Meta, LSI has won five seats in the Parliament in the 2005 election. LSI is member of the Socialist International and of the Party of European Socialists.

Flag of LSI

The flag of LSI, as seen on photos available on the party website, is red with the emblem of the party, a white rose surmonting the white letters "LSI".

The flag is mentioned in the party statutes, which include the following:

III. SIMBOLI
3.1. Simboli i Lëvizjes Socialiste për Integrim është i përbërë nga inicalet L.S.I.. mbi të cilat është vendosur një trëndafil i kompozuar nga lulja dhe kërcelli me dy gjethe të vendosura në të dy anët e tij. Simboli vendoset në stemën, vulën dhe flamurin e L.S.I. -së.

More or less:
"The symbol of LSI is made of the initials LSI placed over a rose with stalk and leaves. The symbol is placed on the logo and flag of the LSI."
